In her role as HR Assistant, Lizzie provides administrative and organisational support to the People Team and the Centre, particularly in respect of recruitment, payroll and benefits, training and development and employee relations.
Originally from New Zealand, Lizzie has worked in the Charitable Sector for the last seven years in both the UK and New Zealand, primarily in the area of fundraising. She previously worked for organisations such as Emmaus UK, Cambridge Community Church (C3), Christian Aid and World Vision New Zealand. Lizzie has a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand.
Joining the Centre on a temporary contract in January 2014, Lizzie was responsible for overseeing the Library Review. This involved identifying and locating the Centre’s holdings collection (of which there are 29,000 titles) and coordinating an effort to streamline the Library to resource other libraries from the Centre’s collection.
